There have been many national and international events these days, and life is still going on with different shadows. I would like to look at the good sides, hopefully it would bring us happy moments.

From 10pm on March 05, 2022, the 52th season of the Rideau Canal Skateway is officially closed. Within only 41 days, more than half a millions people enjoyed skating there. It was amazing time, incredible experience and I really love it.
I wish it could last longer and you could join me here! On the other hand, I look forward to Spring coming around the corner.

Winnipeg - the capital and the largest city of the Canadian province of Manitoba.
The historic site “The Forks” together with the nearby “Exchange District” are known for its well-preserved, early 20th-century architecture and numerous art galleries. Not sure if that is the reason why it brought me the elastic and sentimental feelings, took me back to the historical colonial times. 🤔
With only a few pictures of the core downtown, it can not show enough how attractive this city is but I love scrolling along the streets, among the history and the present, the old and the new, the traditions and contemporaries.
What are your experience or imagination about this lovely city?

It’s a calm winter morning in Wawa, a small township in Ontario. The day before was sunny but with snow in the afternoon and during the night, the town became pure white and bright. When we left, the town was still sleeping, very quiet and empty.
And here you can see the Biggest Goose (of its kind) in Canada. The Goose is 28 feet tall, 22 feet long and has a wingspan of 20 feet.
Believe or not, this monument is one of the most photographed landmarks in North America!

I didn’t know about this beautiful hideaway with a piece of history before. It is definitely worth at every corner, particularly in the Summer, when you could enjoy activities there. However, it works better for small groups or individuals and you need a bit adventurous to be on top of that small hidden world.

Though it’s not the whole thing, this should be taught at school but good to learn and understand at any age. I found it’s so true in both life and business.
Yet it depends on perspectives where you are, and it’s not so simple sometimes to choose just one way straight.
To me, doesn’t matter what circumstances are, BE NICE, BE GOOD, BE TOLERATED, then BE STRONG while DON’T LOOSE OURSELVES are something human needs, myself included!

There are lots of concerns and things to do to have it fully recovered!
In general, not only talking about tourism industry, could we ever one day come back to the habits or orders, which have been built up for long time? How can we safely practice those measures?
Hopefully, it has been gradually changed for the better for human life and nature with better environment!

As people look for reopening, it’s obviously hard for tourism & travel, which has been affected the most. Comparing to these guys, it is certainly much more difficult for small companies! A big question of “How to survive after the pandemic???”!!!!

The world's third-largest cruise ship operator cast doubt on its ability to stay afloat as a company for much longer, even as one of its biggest rivals said it is taking its first tentative steps toward reopening after COVID-19.

It would definitely affect the air fares (and then the tours in general!) but how much? Would it increase 50% the air fare as said in the article?
And so how much would the tour prices be increased? How would the mass tourism go?
Wait and see! Yeah, it is still hard even after the COVID-19.

What do you think? Will you still travel as before if the prices getting higher?

It’s no doubt an extremely hard period for the whole world from the governments to individuals, while we are all fighting against the virus.
On the other hand, at this period of pandemic, while putting aside the pressure and anxiety about the future, those who aren’t frontline (healthcare) workers, somehow have time to live slower, take advantage of slowing down.
Yes, we’ve faced lots of difficulties these days including self-isolation, quarantine, hospitalization, etc. but I believe that music is forever one of amazing relief.
One has own favourites songs which are related private spans of life, I guess. So do I.

I’d like to share a song of a singer I love from the first time listened to more than three decades ago - one of my all-time favourite! There’s always memories coming back listening to it... Furthermore, I love his songs (not only this one) while far admire the way he lives his life and contributes to communities.
Hope love is there for all of us!
I trust everyone deserves loving and being loved!

Would you like to share your favourite ones?

Wishing you and your loved ones healthy and safe!
Staying home, keeping physical distance, sanitizing are to limit the risk for ourselves and for others!

We would like to send our thanks to all workers, officials, scientists, etc. who have been directly and indirectly dealing and fighting with the disease to keep us safe and protected.

Yes, obviously, it’s very sad and tough period for each and every one in the pandemic. In many sectors, many places, people are losing jobs, businesses are shutting, communities are effected, ... while we haven’t clearly learnt what would it exactly be...

Hoping everyone of us would actively contribute in this combat by strictly following the instructions and advices from experts to keep the bad numbers low low.

Here is some useful information to be aware of how the numbers are scientifically counted.

Icewine: Canada's Gold in a Glass - Natalie MacLean

Canadian Special Treat! Ice Wine! It's season now and let's taste!

Do you know that Canada didn't invent Ice Wine but Canada is recognized as the world's largest and highest quality producer of Ice Wines, producing a greater volume of Ice Wine than all other countries combined? Nowadays, approximately 70% of total world production of Ice Wine is from Canada and 90% of Canadian Ice Wine comes from Niagara Region.
There are only 96 wineries, which produce Ice Wine, out of more than 500 wineries in Canada: 20 in British Columbia, 3 in Nova Scotia, 71 in Ontario and 2 in Quebec.

The first Ice Wine was unexpectedly produced in British Columbia in 1972 but not for the commercial purpose. And the first commercial Canadian Ice Wine "Eiswein" was produced at Inniskillin in Niagara region in 1984, made from Vidal grapes.

Ice Wine production is limited to the specific world's wine-growing regions where the necessary cold temperatures can be expectedly reached with some regularity. To make real and delicious Ice Wine, the grapes must have been frozen while still on the vine. They require to be picked up in a few hours at midnight at the "cold enough temperature"! And... a long list of Canadian standards for the process, fermentation, produce and label. It's very interesting to learn about it and how risky the production could be. Well, that results small amounts of ice wine being made worldwide, making ice wines generally expensive.

Watch this video from Natalie MacLean and CTV to gain a bit more knowledge on Ice Wine and its taste. Connect with us and let us know if you have plans for wine tours!
