The Art of Being Human - Suzanne Valois

The Art of Being Human - Suzanne Valois The Art of Being Human By becoming more conscious of your thoughts and feelings you also become aware that you have choices.

THE ART OF BEING HUMAN was created out of a passion to help individuals uncover and value their authentic voice through Creative Expression for personal and global wellbeing. We offer thematic courses, workshops and retreats that emphasize an intuitive and spontaneous approach to art making through the exploration of a variety of art materials and modalities. Creative Expression is an approach to

artwork that allows your creativity to become deeply authentic therefore a truer reflection of what you hold inside. Our power to make choices enables us to shape our life, work and, ultimately, our communities and our world

Like yoga and meditation, Creative Expression is recognized by the medical community and by complimentary alternative medicine as a holistic approach to wellbeing. Used as a tool for self discovery, managing stress, gaining new insights and perspectives it can be applied to every aspect of your life as it involves becoming more conscious of where you are at and what you are bringing into your life. Currently I work with the City of Ottawa, the University of Ottawa, and Crichton Cultural Centre. As well I offer workshops for groups and individuals in my studio and on location. I also assist artists with disabilities who need assistance in materializing their artistic visions and organizing venues for exhibitions. As well I am a board member for Soldates de la Paix (Soldiers of Peace) a collaborative global social entrepreneurial sculptural art project that seeks to fosters peace in the world
