I am planning another hosted group trip, for September 2025, and want YOUR input! Would you rather:

🇳🇴 Cruise from Svalbard (the last town before the North Pole), along Norway's gorgeous coast to Bergen, and then travel by land to Oslo?
OR

Yesterday's hike and kayak at Punta Uva and a relaxed beach afternoon were the perfect way to finish up our trip 😊

Our hotel package at Aninga lodge in National Park included a motorized wildlife viewing ride into the canals of the park.
Definitely the highlight of the trip so far, even in the pouring rain!!

Tortuguero is a village on Costa Rica’s Caribbean coast. Part of National Park, it’s on a rainforest-covered sandbar whose beaches are a major nesting site for green turtles. The park’s freshwater canals, wetlands and forests shelter wildlife like jaguars, tapirs and manatees.

Yesterday we board / shuttled / bussed and boated again to arrive at Aninga lodge, our home for 2 nights 😊

Well THAT was an adventure!! Morning river safari was meant to be "Enjoy the tranquility of the rainforest that rafts down to the Tres Amigos River."
Not so tranquil with high water and racing current lol ( lots of ducking to avoid the low hanging branches ..)

Maquenque Ecolodge, our home for 2 more nights, is the ideal place for nature lovers and wish to explore their senses, strategically located inside the Maquenque National Wildlife Refuge, bordering the San Carlos River. There are 15 Bungalows and 10 tree houses with a beautiful view to a natural lagoon or to the tropical forest for the tree houses, over 68 acres of rainforest. There is a great variety of flora and fauna, making this the perfect place for bird lovers (more than 592 species of birds have been identified).

A knock at the door brought a delicious breakfast of warm toast and croissants, local fruit, and 'cafe con leche' (enjoyed on our peaceful verandah ) 😋

Usually in the days leading up to a trip I like to post a teaser or 2... but it has been an incredibly busy week of planning fabulous vacations for my clients so no time for Facebook lol.
All tucked into my seat for the 6 hour flight..
