Happy Valentine’s Day from Trent Study Abroad!!! Come to the Great Hall (Champlain Cafe) from 1-3pm today to learn more about short-term summer study abroad opportunities as well how to study abroad during the 2025/2025 academic term, and have some chocolate while we chat 🍫💝 Remember that Trent offers many different study abroad opportunities from summer field courses, single terms abroad, departmental exchanges and full year abroad opportunities! Studying abroad is an important way to learn more about the world as well as equips you with unique skills that come from travel and seeing other parts of the world!

Anya is currently studying sociology abroad at for the 2024 winter semester. This past weekend she was able to take part in a Erasmus program that took her to Mont St. Michel, and she kindly shared her photos with us. Isn’t it just stunning? 🤩

Hi! I’m Claire and I’m in my third year of a History degree with a minor in Cultural Studies at Trent. I’ve spent the past month in Liverpool, UK studying at Liverpool Hope University. So far, the experience has been amazing, as I’ve seen some really cool things and met lots of wonderful people! In this post, I’ve included pictures of Liverpool (pictures 2-5), a picture of campus (picture 6), a photo of where I did some volunteer work (picture 7) and some photos of my travels around England (pictures 8-10)! I’m really looking forward to doing some more travelling and seeing where this experience takes me!

Organized by professor Rob Elkington, this summer 6 week online course teaches you about the critical role that organizations have in developing sustainable business models. The course also includes 14 days in country, at the University of Stellenbosch while you earn 0.5 credits. ⠀

Summer Course Alert ‼️ One of our partners, Viadrina European University in Frankfurt, Germany is offering an amazing summer opportunity for those interested in Human Rights Protection within European systems. The course is being offered from July 1-12, and you will received 10 ECT credits which is equivalent to about ~1.0 credit. The deadline for the application is April 15th, 2024. This past September, the 51st Annual Trent Temagami Trip took place at Camp Wanapitei. This was an opportunity to examine and experience our relationship to the land.

A few of our inbound exchange students attended this 4 day trip of experiential learning. Thank you to student Toby White who is studying with us through our exchange partner in Plymouth, UK for these beautiful photos! (.oby)
