The City of Pickering is looking to bring a fully sponsored Movie Nights in the Park series to residents and visitors this Summer 🎥🍿

Why Sponsor Movie Nights?
Both the City of Pickering and community organizers have had great success with Movie Night events in recent years, featuring showings of Shrek, Kung Fu Panda, and other family-friendly and classic films.

Staff are currently exploring options for an alternative parade route for the 2025 Santa Claus Parade due to anticipated road construction and service disruption along Kingston and Glenanna Roads, as a result of Pickering’s City Centre redevelopment.

The City is currently engaging with residents, businesses, and parade participants on a proposed new route for the parade to both inform residents, and collect feedback, on the proposed changes.

Please let us know how this change may affect you and your family in the Santa Claus Parade New Route Survey by January 31. ⬇
