🌮FOOD + TRAVEL✈️

For some, food is not a big part of a travel adventures. I mean, we have to eat to survive and eating at Swiss Chalet or Taco Bell fills the void.

For others, destination meals are an immersive culinary experience. While in Cuba, taste test the local delicacy of turtle, eat some crocodile in the bayou, mmmmmm Mexican guacamole or authentic pasta in Italy. 🥑🍝

And for a select few who have dietary restrictions or food allergies, food while travelling is all about safety. Accessibility, variety and meticulous pre-planning is top of mind.

Joyful Travels caters to all three types of travellers. I’ve always enjoyed travelling, but being a mom of a kiddo with severe allergies, navigating his allergies is part of the travel planning process for us.

Photo packages are always negotiable.

Our most recent all-inclusive resort had a dolphinarium that we had a fantastic experience at but there was a strict “no cameras or recording” during the swim. A professional photographer captured our dolphin swim and all 100ish photos were available for $185 USD following the swim. 😬 Well, pics or it didn’t happen, right??

There were only a couple in the package that I was interested in purchasing so I began the negotiations. It took a couple days but eventually I got electronic copies of these two photos at a price that I was happy with. 🐬

Moral of the story: you CAN negotiate a price on priceless photos.
