It's berry harvest time! First the wild rose hips (what a beautiful orange colour!), chokecherry (plentiful this year), first year with aronia (chokeberry) and the start of the elderberry harvest (so many after they've been established for few years!)! Lots of blackberries too!

Here's what weve been up to at Cranberry Camp: admiring the humming birds and many butterfly pollinators, drying herbs, the Nice rock formatiins (yes, thats the correct geological term) and cooking mushrooms growing and grown at Cranberry Camp. Details in the captions.

Work party do innoculate logs with Sh*take spawn DATE CHANGED TO: Friday May 17th 9:30 start. Bring a bag lunch. We have 1 big bag of spawn so the idea is to share the work (drilling, inoculating, and waxing the holes) and cost of the spawn ($75) and share the logs (to take home). We will probably do 30 to 40 logs in total. Message me if interested!
