A small piece on what has gone on lately including the recent swarm of winter run steelhead ,in the last 2 weeks we have donated 25 winter runs to the hatchery and released about the same with a handle full of hatcheries showing up due to our efforts over the last 3 years for all you foot anglers good luck out there anyone wishing to book an incredible day on the flow call soon

STAMP RIVER REPORT. It’s been a steady stream of incoming salmon on Vancouver island mostly due to run timing and hatchery production, there is nowhere else in the world right now including the skeena territory that can claim salmon capital of the world, from northern Vancouver island to the far south we are hands down the best fishing there is and the steelhead are soon to follow, rivers are rising and we have a solid two months left of pure river salmon fishing to be had, any questions or@if you wish to be guided call to discuss Regards Mike baker

Well after a partial season of beating on halibut and lings it’s on to the mighty stamp river,the last couple days test fishing has proven productive the chinooks and coho are coming up like cordwood, and likely will not slow down for at least a month above tide water,this is unarguably the best salmon fishery on the west coast all due to our hard working hatchery staff at Robertson creek hatchery, I will be resuming salmon charters and or steelhead sept 15 right through, the in season forecast for fall run steelhead also looks great with summer numbers already starting to hit the river
