Looking for an epic day trip from Port Alberni? Head to Tofino or Ucluelet for some winter storm watching! 🌊🌧️
Only a 1-1.5 hour drive from Port Alberni, you can witness the raw power of the Pacific Ocean with towering waves and dramatic skies at spots like Amphitrite Point Lighthouse or one of the many beaches in the Pacific Rim National Park Reserve.
Bundle up, grab some hot cocoa, and take in the winter beauty of the West Coast!
⚠️ Storm Watching Safety Tip: Stay safe by keeping clear of rocks, beaches, and driftwood during storms. High tides and rogue waves can be dangerous, so always check tide schedules and stay elevated from the shoreline. Prepare for unpredictable weather, and remember, safety first!
