The Port Renfrew Visitor Information Centre offers free wifi, washrooms, visitor services, and phone access. Our centre is located at 16947 Parkinson Rd. We recognize the traditional and ancestral territory of Pacheedaht First Nation, on whose land Port Renfrew, Port San Juan, and the tributaries of the Gordon,and San Juan River estuaries sit. We acknowledge and thank the Pacheedaht First Nation people, on whose traditional territories, we live, learn, play, and work.

Beginning on May 1, 2024, British Columbia will implement a new regulation that limits short-term rentals to the host's primary residence and one secondary suite or accessory dwelling unit in many B.C. communities. The province has exempted smaller communities and tourist destinations, including Port Renfrew, from the new regulations. Win one of two (2) prize packages, which include two nights’ accommodation in Port Renfrew at either Handsome Dan’s or Wild Renfrew, gift certificates to the Renfrew Pub, Bridgeman’s Eatery and Sarah Grace Boutique. This contest will begin at 8am PST on August 17, 2020 and close September 28, 2020 at 4pm. Winners will be selected at random from all eligible entries. Winner will be notified via email on or before September 30, 2020.
The trip can be taken any time between October 1*, 2020 to April 30, 2021 (*provided public health authorities deem it safe to travel).

The Contest will begin on August 17, 2020. The Contest will end at 16:00 PST on September 28, 2020 (the “Closing Date”). Two winners will be selected at random from all eligible entries. Winners will be notified via email on or before September 30, 2020.
The contest is open to any Canadian or American resident over the age of 18 years who enters the contest by tagging #MyPortRenfrew in Port Renfrew photo captures (maximum of 5 images per participant) from current or past visits on Facebook and/or Instagram.
Misrepresentation of age or residency will disqualify the submission. The following person(s) are NOT eligible to win the contest: (a) employees, members of Chamber of Commerce Port Renfrew; (b) individuals employed or appointed as members to the Port Renfrew Economic Development Task Force; (c) employees of WorkLink Employment Society; and (d) anyone residing in a jurisdiction in which contests of this nature are prohibited. Odds of being selected are dependant on the total number of eligible entries received by the Closing Date. The greater the number of eligible entries received, the lower the chances of being selected.
This contest is void where prohibited by law. The contest consists of a random draw and the answering of a skill-testing mathematical question.

Entries are subject to verification and will be declared invalid if they are illegible, mechanically reproduced, mutilated, forged, falsified, altered or tampered with in any way. Entrants agree to abide by the Contest Rules and the decisions of the independent judging panel, which are final.
Two (2) winners will be selected from all eligible entrants by way of a random draw.
Before being declared a winner of any prize, the Selected Entrants must have correctly answered a mathematical, skill-testing question and submitted a completed Declaration and Release Form confirming compliance with the contest rules and acceptance of the prize as awarded, releasing WorkLink BC from any and all liability in association with the contest or the prize. In the event that a selected entrant(s) has not been contacted to claim his or her prize within three (3) days of the last communication attempt (via email, Facebook or phone call), after a minimum of three (3) attempts by WorkLink BC; or does not correctly answer the skill testing question; or if the selected entrant does not otherwise comply with the rules and regulations of the contest, another random draw or draws will be conducted to select a replacement winner in the same manner. The prize will only be given to the confirmed winner(s). All decisions of WorkLink BC shall be final.
