This Great Blue Heron was spotted at Lake Dorothy, just in time for the Wings Over The Rockies Nature Festival happening throughout the Columbia Valley from May 6-12.

This one week event takes place in the communities of Radium Hot Springs, Fairmont Hot Springs, and the Invermere area offering over 100 events. This year the event welcomes keynote speaker, Bob McDonald, host of 's Quirks and Quarks program.
