This is my Christmas ad.
I don't normally do "sales" because I believe that if you can sell it for $X in June you can sell it for $X in November.
But I know Albertans are Hurtin' so I have to do my part to help out all the people who have a bucket list this Christmas.

Red Deer is such a nice place to fly.
There is a ballooning history here that goes back to the very early days in Canada in the 1970's, and although there are people who don't like anything anyone does, and some landowners who have legitimate concerns about a balloon landing in a particular field, for the most part it's pretty open for landing options.
We don't land in crop or close to critters unless we are running out of safe options.
We always try to contact the landowner, and the vast majority think it's pretty cool.
Particularly if they have kids.
If conditions permit we tie the balloon to the chase vehicle and do short 20' rides up and down.
Our goal is to leave only footprints and smiles.

Every year we do a landowners appreciation draw for 2 tickets to ride because we love our landowners.
This year Cathy from west of Blackfalds was the winner.
Congratulations Cathy!

Nice day for a flight. Decided to shout out a few businesses that caught my eye. Who doesn't like a Happy Hippo, and RV Alley on the north end of town.

It would be super awesome to see this from the air in an Air-ristocrat Balloon right?!?
Unfortunately the conditions that make that picture, also make ballooning very unsafe.
Safety is our #1 priority.

This is what a really good gas balloon race looks like!
The goal is the longest distance flight measured in a straight line.
The Austrians won with a distance of 2111.16 km. 3rd place was 2108.47 km.
