Near Regina? Join SaskParks for a guided hike in Echo Valley this Saturday, Sept 21. Choose from three different hikes: Connecting with the Land, Fall Foliage, and Scenic Stroll.

Near Saskatoon? Explore the Meewasin Valley and scope out the fall migration at Beaver Creek or Cranberry Flats conservation areas. Spot Sandhill Cranes, Great Blue Herons, and potentially even Whooping Cranes!

Translation: Duck Mountain Provincial Park is on the eastern border of Saskatchewan and on the southern edge of the boreal forest where the forest transitions to aspen parkland.

From warblers to waterfowl, birders have recorded 217 different species in this area. Don Weidl leads the Ebird.org chart for most species observed in the park at 178.

Ten homegrown Saskatchewan athletes are currently representing Canada at the Paris Olympics, including Humboldt’s own Paige Crozon, whose Canadian women’s 3x3 basketball team will be taking on the USA this morning and Spain this afternoon. 🏀

Can’t make it to Paris in person? No problem! Crozon and the Canadian women’s 3x3 basketball team will be bringing some high-octane 3x3 action back to the Paris of the Prairies during the YXE Urban Games August 16-18!
