Set off a private road, on the shores of the Richibucto River and adjacent to the sandy beach, is our peaceful, cozy little cottage. Surrounding you is nothing but the sights and sounds of nature!
Enjoy the tranquility of the perennial gardens and the sweet songs of our feathered friends such as finches, chickadees, osprey and eagles. Also, the many varieties of ducks and sea birds, along with the soothing call of the loon! Bigger friends, like the deer and moose, may be lurking around the birch trees or along the beach.
Do as little or as much as you like. Depending on the season, you may fulfill your days just walking the beach or digging fresh clams. Reading a good book out on the garden swing or simply watching the lobster boats pass on by. Donβt forget the nearby boat launch or the proximity to the New Brunswick trail system/ATV and snowmobile trails.
Situated between the vibrant Richibucto Village and the quaint Village of Rexton, plan for a scenic drive along the awesome Acadian Coast. Youβre merely minutes away from Kouchibouguac National Park, La Dune de Bouctouche Irving Eco-Centre and Irving Arboretum, Pays de la Sagouine and a host of local Farmerβs Markets. Of course, New Brunswick has some of the best lobster in the world! During lobster season you can watch the over 300 fishermen at work and purchase the tasty crustacean fresh, real fresh at the Richibucto Wharf. If that leaves you a little dry, do some wine tasting at the local winery and treat yourself to a few bottles for the beach!
