A 7.2 magnitude earthquake struck the Hualien District off the East Coast of the Island of Taiwan on the morning of April 3rd, 2024.

As the news of the aftermath continues to flow in of the devastation following the event, we stand in solidarity with our partners, friends, and families in Taiwan.

Sending well wishes to all those affected by the event, and strength to those involved in the rescue and recovery process.

Comprised of three mountains: Tod Mountain, Sundance Mountain as well as Mt Morrisey, it receives an annual snowfall of more than six meters and extends the season from November to Mid-April.

At Sun Peaks, the dry and powdery snow delivers visitors some of the best skiing/snowboarding experiences! To further add to your experience, at scheduled time, you can ski with former Olympic Gold Medallist Nancy Green whom have called Sun Peaks home since 1995.
