A 7.2 magnitude earthquake struck the Hualien District off the East Coast of the Island of Taiwan on the morning of April 3rd, 2024.

As the news of the aftermath continues to flow in of the devastation following the event, we stand in solidarity with our partners, friends, and families in Taiwan.

Sending well wishes to all those affected by the event, and strength to those involved in the rescue and recovery process.

Led by a campaign under Lord Dufferin to save the walls of Québec City, the construction of the new gates were designed to be wider so that traffic can flow much easier through them. It showcased that it is possible to adapt to the change in transportation while preserving the essential elements of the city's characteristics.

The Citadelle de Québec is marked as a National Historic Site by Parks Canada. It is the largest British Fortress in North America, and contains over 300 years of history, dating all the way back to the days of the New France period.
