All month, you can find a copy of “With Our Orange Hearts” books in the seat back pocket of all of our aircraft. An opportunity for our passengers of any age to learn from the words of Phyllis Webstad as they soar over the salish sea in Sweetgrass Warrior or Strawberry Moon.

We will continue to learn, witness and honour the healing journey of the Survivors and their families while contributing our part in an alive and thriving future for our littles. EVERY CHILD MATTERS.

Exciting news! 🎉 Iskwew Air and Raven Indigenous Capital Partners have teamed up in a new investment partnership to transform the aviation industry 🌍✈️

On June 25th, we gathered in celebration and ceremony to mark Iskwew Air’s new chapter alongside our investment partner and celebrate the growth of our Piper Navajo fleet as we welcome our latest aircraft, Baby Bison (GMDL) to our herd.

The summer months are now behind us as we welcome fall and winter travel!

We thought a few reminders for passengers travelling on Iskwew Air may be helpful!

Check-in: Travellers must check in 45-minutes prior to departure with checked bags and 30-minutes prior to departure for folks travelling with only a personal item. If you have not checked in when it is time to board, the flight will carry-on as scheduled and your flight will be forfeited. So please respect the check-in times and your fellow travellers!

Baggage: Baggage allowance is 30lbs per passenger- anything in excess of 30lbs will be charged $1/lb (+tax) and carried space-permitting.

Booking: You can book on our website 24/7, 7 days a week! Or you connect in with our customer care team via phone or e-mail.

Our customer care is deeply important to us at Iskwew Air and we want to ensure safe, on-time and easeful travel for our community!

This weekend marks both the 10th Anniversary of Orange Shirt Day and National Day for Truth and Reconciliation-a day to listen, acknowledge and learn from the history and legacy of the residential school system in this country.

Our EVERYDAY collective responsibility is to humbly listen to the stories of survivors, intergenerational survivors and young ones to take part in shaping our collective future.

The Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure has announced continued closures to Highway 4 on Vancouver Island Monday-Friday through until mid-August. As a result, we will resume temporary service between Qualicum Beach Airport (CAT4) and Port Alberni (CBS8) (with option to continue on to/from YVR South Terminal) with 2 flights a day in each direction Monday-Friday starting July 17th, 2023 through until August 4th, 2023.

Our website will always have the most up to date, in real-time, flight availability so we encourage folks to visit our website to book your travel.

The sun has set on our time serving Port Alberni with charters as a result of the fires and highway closures now that the highway has re-opened. It was an honour to be able to serve the community and get people where they needed to go during a challenging time for folks on the island.

We got to hear your stories of celebrating life (new and old), graduations, weddings, medical appointments, surgeries and even births. We heard stories from front line workers, folks getting to and from work, people getting back to their kids or checking on their elderly parents. Over the many days and nights, we heard it all.

Thank you for your patience with us as we navigated a volume unprecedented for Iskwew Air. We hope to welcome you onboard again soon as we continue to connect folks with each other and to the land.

With the highway closures confirmed to continue over the next 10 days and community demand-our team has been able to extend charter flights between Qualicum Beach Airport (CAT4) and Alberni Valley Regional Airport (CBS8) through until next Friday June 23rd, 2023.

With our call volume, we highly encourage folks to book through our website as it will always have our most up to date flight availability.

The flights within this time frame will be non-refundable.
