Mount Arafat holds great significance as it is the place where one of the most important rituals of Hajj, the annual pilgrimage to Mecca, takes place. Situated about 20 kilometres east of Mecca, Mount Arafat is a rocky hill that stands as a symbol of profound spiritual significance.

The significance of Mount Arafat can be traced back to the farewell sermon of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) during his final pilgrimage. the Prophet delivered his farewell sermon from the top of Mount Arafat, addressing a multitude of Muslims who had gathered there.

The sermon, known as the Farewell Sermon, emphasized important Islamic teachings, such as the equality of all Muslims, the importance of unity, and the sanctity of human life and property. 🏔️ 🕋
