📸❄️ 𝐂𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐜𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐅𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐖𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫❗ ❄️📸

The magic of 𝐶𝑟𝑒𝑠𝑒𝑛𝑡 𝐹𝑎𝑙𝑙𝑠 is even more captivating during December, when the freeze and thaw cycles create unique ice patterns that transform this stunning spot into a winter wonderland. A favorite for both photographers and hikers, 𝐶𝑟𝑒𝑠𝑒𝑛𝑡 𝐹𝑎𝑙𝑙𝑠 offers breathtaking views all year long, but the winter months bring an extra layer of beauty (and a bit of adventure!) 🏞️✨

🚗 Winter Access Advisory:
Due to hazardous seasonal road conditions, the vehicle gates to the day use area are now closed for the season. The upper parking lot remains open, and the access road and upper lot are routinely plowed for vehicle access. The Crescent Falls Day Use Area is open but limited to foot traffic only. The campground is closed for the season. Visitors should be prepared to walk from the upper parking lot on the 0.8 km trail, which is rated at moderate/expert skill level due to the incline. We recommend utilizing micro spikes or hiking poles for stability. There is access to outhouse washrooms in the upper parking lot. No drop-off zone is available until May 2025.

🚧 Construction Advisory:
Due to minor construction works along the main Crescent Falls Trail, access will be prohibited between November 26 – December 20, 2024. Visitors are advised to use the Crescent Falls Road access to reach the lower day-use area and viewing structures.

Additionally, minor construction work will occur on the equestrian trail north of the Trailer Parking Area. The trail will remain partially open with detours during the installation of water bars and hazardous tree removal. Visitors are asked to follow all construction signage and keep out of active construction zones.

🌨️ Please note, the road to the falls is closed for the season at the equestrian staging area, so be prepared for a bit of a winter trek along the snow and ice-covered road. But trust us, the stunning views of the falls are totally worth the walk! 🥾

Located just 26 km west of 𝑁𝑜𝑟𝑑𝑒𝑔𝑔, and only a few kms off the 𝐷𝑎𝑣𝑖𝑑 𝑇ℎ𝑜𝑚𝑝𝑠𝑜𝑛 𝐻𝑖𝑔ℎ𝑤𝑎𝑦 in 𝐶𝑙𝑒𝑎𝑟𝑤𝑎𝑡𝑒𝑟 𝐶𝑜𝑢𝑛𝑡𝑦, 𝑪𝒓𝒆𝒔𝒄𝒆𝒏𝒕 𝑭𝒂𝒍𝒍𝒔 𝑷𝒓𝒐𝒗𝒊𝒏𝒄𝒊𝒂𝒍 𝑹𝒆𝒄𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 𝑨𝒓𝒆𝒂 is the perfect winter escape in 𝐷𝑎𝑣𝑖𝑑 𝑇ℎ𝑜𝑚𝑝𝑠𝑜𝑛 𝐶𝑜𝑢𝑛𝑡𝑟𝑦.
