Whether it be dining in at the cottage and barbequing, or perhaps it's a stroll down and getting a table alongside the water at On the Dock Eatery or the award winning Blue Mussel Cafè (we recommend making a reservation!). Not only will you enjoy an amazing meal on the deck of either of these restaurants, you will not be disappointed by the breathtaking views. If you are interested in exploring the surrounding area on a bicycle or perhaps checking out the scenery from the water then Outside Expeditions can hook you up with either a Kayak or a bike rental. Another option to explore the waters is with a deep sea fishing trip that leaves the harbour multiple times a day. In that same area you will also find 2 lovely gift shops as well as an opportunity to see the North Rustico lighthouse, a historic landmark of North Rustico Harbour. A stroll along the boardwalk from the cottage will take you to the town of North Rustico, also known as the Crick. It is here that you will find many more amenities such as the Fisherman’s Wharf Lobster Suppers, other Deep Sea Fishing options, a lobster pound where you can purchase fresh and cooked lobster as well as other fresh seafood selections. In this area you will also find other eating establishments, a local grocery store and North Rustico Liquor Store. A 10 minute drive will take you to the heart of Cavendish with its many attractions for children and adults.
