We are grateful for the Indian summer we have had and friends that came to visit.

We have been able to get a lot of stuff done around the farmstead and are looking forward to yet another change of seasons.

Soon the farm will be blanketed in a pearl white layer of snow!

Our original 1968 vintage Airstream 💫creates nostalgic feels of a bygone era.

Parked ridge side overlooking a field of Fraser fir’s it’s the perfect spot for viewing wildlife passing by.

The Airstream has a wood burning stove and comes with a wood burning sauna, soaker tank, cabana, outdoor shower and outhouse. It’s camping in comfort and style.

This is Sadie our lead mare now. She’s a standardbred that raced. She had earnings in her career yet found herself in a Kill-pen hundreds of kilometres away from the Eire racetrack. We went and got her out of there, brought her back home and we’re sure glad we did. Sadie is such a good horse. Calm, cautious and kind. We can always count on her being there, present watching over the herd. Sadie has shown us for awhile now that being humble and calm is always what’s best in any situation. We take pride in trying to care for our horses, keeping them healthy and in as natural a state as possible.

The Amable du Fond river is a real gem. Following out of Kiosk lake at Algonquin park it winds its way towards the Mattawa river. Switchback after switchback, white sand beach after white sand beach, deep cool healing pools and no one in sight. It makes for an epic day trip from the farm and we know where the best stretch of river is.😉

Here on the tree farm it really makes us happy to see our young saplings make it through the summer looking so strong and healthy. This young tree here is a Fraser fir and in several years if all goes well will make one lucky family very happy to bring home for Christmas.
