Tiana’s Bayou has replaced Splash Mountain at Magic Kingdom. It is lush with bright colors, vivid imagery and animatronics and catchy music and oh and there is that 50 foot drop ☀️.

💂‍♀️ Canadians will need an ETA in order to visit England 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿, Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿, Wales 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 or Northern Ireland 🇮🇪
💂‍♀️Transiting through the UK (having a layover) while on your way somewhere else will also require ETA application
💂‍♀️ETA applications open Nov 27

Speaking of Mexico 🇲🇽 , if heading there, make sure that you are only taking 1 computer 💻 or iPad with you or you may have to pay a hefty tax …

Heading to 🇲🇽 this winter? Did you know:

💻 You are only allowed to bring 1️⃣ computing device into Mexico, tax free. Translated from Spanish, the customs website describes this as, “a portable computer (laptop), notebook, omni book or similar.”

💸 This means, if you bring a laptop AND an iPad (or other tablet), you will have to pay tax/duty on one of them, depending on the value of the device.

🤷‍♀️In 99% of cases, the person bringing a laptop and an iPad is doing so for work purposes, but customs agents have to assume that anyone doing so could be trying to sell one of the devices, hence the taxing.

Petra by day and by night was a stunning sight!🐪 Petra was an established capital by nomadic Arabs known as the Nabateans on the incense trade route that was very profitable for them. 🐪 Incense, spices and other luxury goods such as wood, silk, precious stones, pearls, animal skins, feathers were all traded here. 🐪 The Nabateans were skilled carvers, farmers and water conservationists and were accustomed to living in desert environments. 🐪 It is a 2 km walk into the famous treasury though the Siq (gorge) and then another 2 km past the only carved amphitheatre in the world and many tombs, caves and then climb over 850 carved steps in the (40C heat) to the monastery. #StewartTravelGroup #TTAND2024Trailblazers#TTANDGAdventures #TTANDJordanTourismBoard#TTANDRoyalJordanianAirlines#StewartTravelGroup

It is not every day that your bus has to stop for camels 🐪🐪🐪 to cross on our way to the desert in Wadi Rum, Jordan 🇯🇴. Here is a video of a few from a flock or caravan including a calf and a white one galopping. Looking for something free to do at WDW on a day that you are not going to the parks? Check out Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge.

Slinky Dog Dash-a fun, family roller coaster at Disney’s Hollywood Studios-is a great choice to ride at night with all the lights of Toy Story Land. It has a minimum height requirement of 38 inches.

A snippet of Finding Nemo: The Big Blue and Beyond at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Puppetry on another level 🐡

Blue Spring State Park is about an hour from Orlando and definitely worth the excursion. Cost=$6/car. From Nov 15ish to March 16ish every year it is home to up to 700+ manatees. We visited on a cooler rainy day but so enjoyed our visit. Snorkeling, swimming and tubing are potential opportunities when manatees are not in winter residency.
