WestJet Update
Due to the extreme weather events that continue to impact multiple regions around Canada, we have taken a proactive and measure approach to protect our operations and prioritize recovery flying this weekend, resulting in today’s cancellations.
We wanted to provide you an update for WestJet Vacations guests affected by today’s cancellations.
Full value of the WestJet Vacations Package, including Travel Protection Plan if applicable will be credited to WestJet Dollars
If clients are departing up to and including December 26th, 2022 they have the option to proactively cancel.
Should a client choose to proactively cancel, the full value of their package including Travel Protection Plan if applicable will be credited to WestJet Dollars
As many of your teams are experiencing, our call center volumes are extremely high as we work to reaccommodate those guests affected/in destination.
There is very limited re-accommodation availability due to the high demand for travel this time of year and the significant impact across the industry.
We sincerely apologize for guests who have been impacted by these cancellations and delays, along with the disappointment and frustration for both the guests and advisors.
