Grateful and thankful for all the crews that came to PEI from away. We would have been lost without your assistance. We had many crews in Charlottetown and the one that connected mom after a few days returned the next night to turn on the other side of the street and he noticed something wrong at her place which I went out to talk to him about. He made some changes and was back at 8 am to finish fixing the issue.

We got power at our secondary house in Greenwich on Monday night. A Newfoundland team was there a week before and removed power lines out of trees and a BC team returned Monday night to do extensive pole and line work. Just kne if the many teams here a long way from home. They drove across the country to help PEI Thankful.

The island was a big challenge with lots of extensive damage & many long waits but it was an unprecedented storm with a lot of Destruction.

For us at our house in Greenwich which we rent in the summer/fall we lost two 10 day bookings that had to be canceled unfortunately. I am
sure they will return at another time.

Also Thanks to Kim Griffin for giving the briefings and for the updates from
Crews in the field 👍🎉

The hurricane was hard on PEI and the North Shoreline of PEI was hit very hard.
Some areas are completely closed right now and Greenwich PEI National Park is closed. This picture with all the red says a lot about the beautiful area we love and that many of you love as well.

Earlier this evening in the back yard. Crews from BC were busy working on 2 poles or maybe even 3. This one is in the back yard. Looks like we may have power soon. Very thankful for this BC crew for working on the issues there this eve on Thanksgiving far away from their families. 🙏🥰👍 many other hardworking crews at work across our little Island.
