🌿 Last week, our Visitor Services Team had a fantastic learning session with Erin Vieira, Associate Regional Manager (Thompson) for the Fraser Basin Council, and Jess Booth, Education & Outreach Coordinator for the Columbia Shuswap Invasive Species Society. We learned about the importance of the Clean, Drain, Dry Program, invasive species, and so many other great facts that we can share with visitors and guests to our area to help protect, maintain, and sustain our beautiful land, waters, and ecosystems.🌍💧

🌞 Exciting news from the Salmon Arm Visitor Centre! 🌿 We're thrilled to announce our partnership with Save Your Skin Foundation to offer free Health Canada approved SPF 30 sunscreen at two locations within the community this summer! Our goal is to help visitors, guests, and residents reduce their risk of skin cancer.

Join us and Save Your Skin Foundation for our launch at the upcoming Downtown Farmers Market at Ross Street Plaza from 9 AM to 1 PM. Try out the sunscreen, visit the Sun Safety Awareness Booth and see our new dispensers, available at both the Wharf Info Hub and Canoe Beach during our summer outreach hours.
