Salt Spring Island, the land we call home, rests on the traditional and unceded territory of the Coast Salish First Nations Peoples. These include the Quw’utsun Tribes (Cowichan), Spune’luxutth (Penelakut), BOḰEĆEN (Paquachin), MÁLEXEȽ (Malahat), SȾÁUTW̱ (Tsawout), W̱JOȽEȽP (Tsartlip), and W̱SIḴEM (Tseycum) nations.

We express our gratitude to the ancestral land keepers who have nurtured this land for generations. We honor the enduring connections of First Nations People to the land, culture, and spirit that continue to flourish here. 🍃

Wondering how easy it is to get to this little paradise we call home?

Salt Spring Island can easily be reached by both ferry and seaplane. If you are travelling from Vancouver Island, BC Ferries offers a convenient 25-35 minute ride to the island. Alternatively, if you are coming from Vancouver, the ferry ride will take approximately 1 hour and 25 minutes. Additionally, Harbour Air and Seair Seaplanes operate daily flights into Ganges Harbour on Salt Spring Island.

Once you get here, find us at the Ganges Visitor Center and let us create an unforgettable experience with our small-group Island "Artisan Trail" tour. This tour offers a breathtaking 28km loop, showcasing spectacular scenery and unforgettable stops. Join us as we explore the best of our island's artisan treasures.
