Posted • .ellisstairs It seems since the cold has hit our little island these beautiful birds have been foraging in our front yard. I usually spot a pair of them together snacking. On this day the lighting was beautiful and I managed to capture one of them before it flew off. Varied Thrushes in particular I find quite challenging to capture, they are often hiding away in branches way up high, somewhere dark with tough lighting conditions or so timid they fly away just when I spot them. I was beaming after this little encounter 😊
