One of the things I love most about our neighbourhood is the mature trees. I was sad to see one I admired daily from my studio window go as a result of the new build and quickly began dreaming up new ways to bring it forward.
The day it came down, all the stars aligned and brought a talented arborist right to my door. In the months that followed our walnut tree became our beautiful table at maison blanche.
