The Main lift and run is open at Searchmont Resort... they've got lots of snow. Check out some opening day shots from the main hill. Searchmont is open for general admission tomorrow and lifts will run all weekend! ⛷

Fort Creek on the Hub Trail. These pictures were taken on Wednesday and, as everyone in the Soo will know, since then we've had about 2 feet more snow. So, for a realtime view, imagine these scenes but with more white stuff. A lot more.

For anyone not in the Soo who is considering visiting for snow and winter related activities - so far we're off to a strong start. Lookout for announcements about our ski hill and trails being open soon. ❄ ⛄

Now back to shoveling. 😀
