Porpoise Bay Charters Visit us at Strong Water Retreat! Porpoise Bay Charters was started by husband and wife team, Kal Helyar & Ann Beardsell, in the spring of 1991.

We operate a year-round guest house and SCUBA diving charter operation. We also feature sightseeing tours April to October. Kal is a licensed captain as well as a SCUBA instructor so you can be assured that your safety and comfort are our number one priority. Our current location is a short boat ride from the Government Dock in Egmont, BC (on the Sunshine Coast). The 6.5 acre waterfront property,

yurts, guest house and large dock will enable us to serve your diving needs even that much better. Join in the fun!!!!!

First overnight dive charter in Phase 3 pandemic opening!! Awesome group from Ocean Quest perfected physical distancing at the house and on the boat! Eggs Benies delivered to the deck then onto the Skook to dive Observation Wall and Power Lines. Sorry but Canadians only😥 and max 6-8 divers on the boat. But it is a start. Great to see divers again.
