The AI seems to understand the assignment better with Robin. Is she missing any accessories? What do you think? She is a "Jill of all trades," after all.
Here are a few ideas:
📋 A laminated safety briefing card
🛎️ A mini service bell
🧼 A spray bottle or cleaning cloth
🦺 A PFD or life jacket
🃏 A deck of cards or a puzzle
☕ A coffee cup
🥤 A serving tray with glasses on it
🧑🤝🧑 All her passengers

🌍 This Earth Day, we’re taking a moment to appreciate the stunning natural landscapes we’re lucky to call our office from May to October. We feel privileged to share these lakes and rivers with our passengers — and to show our followers just how beautiful Ontario’s waterways truly are. Let’s continue to protect these lands and waters for generations to come. 🌿

Hey KV fam! 👋 You’ve seen the inside of the cabins, and a few of you have asked about the showers—great question!
Each room has two beds, storage, and a private bathroom, but the showers are located at the end of the hall. There’s a bank of four showers available exclusively for passengers. 🚿
Since our cabins are so cozy, we don’t go in daily to clean and refresh. But no worries—we have a self-serve area right beside the showers where you can pick up essentials like fresh towels, toilet paper, and more if you're running low. Or you can ask one of our crew for assistance.
If you’re cruising with us for more than one trip, we’ll clean and refresh your cabin in between cruises. 🛏️
Do you have any other questions about our cabins or the ship? Let us know in the comments below 👇

In this area of the Rideau, you’ll find Lower Nicholson Lock, a swing bridge, and Upper Nicholson Lock—all named after Robert Nicholson, a Loyalist immigrant. The swing bridge is unique because it’s pushed open and closed by hand! 🚤 These locks are located near the picturesque town of Merrickville. 🏙️
⚡ Power is still out for many in the Orillia area (our home base), but Hydro One crews are working hard to restore it. Most should have power back by the weekend.
The Ontario ice storm swept through our home base in Orillia, the Trent-Severn region, Quinte, and parts of the Rideau, leaving behind a significant cleanup and many still without power. A heartfelt thank you to the hydro workers, emergency crews, and service teams working tirelessly to restore power and get communities back up and running!
If you are still without power, check with your community organizations, as they may have warming rooms and power charging stations set up to help those in need.

Experience the friendly, casual atmosphere aboard the 45 passenger Kawartha Voyageur riverboat "akin to that of a floating country inn" Providing 5 to 15 day voyages on the Rideau Canal, Trent-Severn Waterway and the Thousand Islands/St. Lawrence River.
Following their retirement from full time farming in 1978, Lloyd and Helen Ackert continued to live on the family farm providing meals and accommodation to farm vacationers. And then came the dream!
From an idea on a rented houseboat in 1981, Lloyd and Helen Ackert and their family created Ontario Waterway Cruises Inc. As founder of Ontario Waterway Cruises Inc., Lloyd spearheaded the development of the business through the 80s and although he and Helen fully retired in 1993, he continued to observe and offer his advice as the years went by. Dad passed on in 2011 but he will always be remembered for his personal interest, enthusiasm and attention to detail… a remedy for success that he instilled in us and everyone he worked with.
Since 1993, sons Marc and John have alternated as captain aboard ship. Marc & Robin and John & Joy share the various responsibilities of managing the business. Robin manages the hospitality functions and Joy manages reservations
