Limits in minutes!
We take our fishing (and eating) seriously. This cake was made for a family member who LOVES her fishing year round. Check out the 2 lines per person (made from spaghetti) and the full depth jello water in the ice hole lol.
Cake and icing are made from scratch and figurines and fish are made from bought marzipan icing.

We had a busy day here at the cabin. We brought in a Weber BBQ for our guests convenience, (stained) and assembled a new picnic table, and moved the other table to the upper deck. And we still had time to go fishing! Summer is looking good! ☀️🐟

Opening pickerel fishing season was last week. Got your fish on? If not, we can accommodate your TV binge watching on a rainy day. The high speed internet and Netflix are good to go. But we're hoping that you'd rather be on the lake or walking the nature trails 🐟☀️

We are approximately 100km west of Thunder Bay, Ontario, 15 minutes from Shabaqua Corners, just off hwy 11.

This cozy cabin is situated on Lower Shebandowan Lake, approximately one hour west of Thunder Bay, Ontario. The cabin is situated near a public boat launch and within walking distance to a public dock and beach. There are many outdoors activities to enjoy in the area during all seasons. The lake was originally used for traditional fishing, hunting, and trapping and was part of the established route to Winnipeg, used during the Riel Rebellion in the 1860's. Today, it is still a popular location for fishing and hunting, but also so many other leisurely activities, including quad riding, kayaking, cycling, snowmobiling, snowshoeing, hiking, foraging, etc.
