Some of the best adventures are found camped out under the stars. After ten mornings where cool breezes stirred by the rising sun carried the scent of sage followed by long sun-drenched days spent climbing with family and friends and fireside laughs backlit by the northern lights, that sentiment has never rang so true.

We have some special places teed up for this spring.

🏕️There are a few spaces left on our late March and early April basecamps.

⛵️⛷️🏂Our Finnmark Ski and Sail trip also has a few spots left.

If you’d like to take some time and connect with the outdoors while exploring some exceptional backcountry terrain, drop a line📮

Classic Slocan— a bit bushy and rough around the edges, vestiges of old mining, plump huckleberries, 1700m straight up out the backdoor—Kootenay gravel at its finest.

It’s always good to share loops like these with folks who appreciate them.

The recent growth in the Kootenay backcountry gravel community is fantastic! Having people like .tuft willing to share their knowledge and passion for sleuthing out epic rides is the icing on the cake. If you get a chance to come for a ride or book one of his camps, don’t hesitate, you won’t regret it.🚴‍♀️🚴

Today’s ride was an exceptional tour through the Nelson Range that linked up several passes and a series of old mining and forestry roads. The amount options for adventure rides in the Kootenays is impressive. If you like climbing, backcountry roads and have a keen sense of adventure, the Kootenays won’t disappoint.
