It is with great sorrow that Echo Tours & Travel announces the passing of Michael "Lee" Lamping. Lee and Debbie partnered together in the development and success of Echo Tours & Travel, and he escorted numerous "Tours" with Debbie over the last 3 decades. Lee will be missed by all who knew him. Staff at Echo Tours & Travel will continue to provide the excellent service that Lee and Debbie have provided over the last 35 years.
In this emotional time Debbie will be taking some time from the office. We ask that you respect her privacy and give her the time needed to begin to heal. Staff are available for any needs at this time.
In respect for Lee Echo Tours and Travel will be closing @ 1pm this Friday January 24, 2025 to allow staff to attend services. We will re open Monday January 27, 2025 @ 9am.

It is with heavy hearts we announce that Lee passed away peacefully at home, January 17, 2025, after a long courageous journey with cancer. He was much loved husband and best friend of Debbie (nee Leslie). Lee was a devoted, proud father to Lisa Walsh (Mike), Melinda Billett (Lucas), Philip Lamping....

Travel Advisory : Power Outages in Cuba
October 20, 2024
Due to a nationwide power outage, Transat and Air Transat are offering travelers heading to Cuba between October 20 and October 22, 2024, a flexible policy allowing them to modify their travel reservations if booked before October 18 at 11:59 PM.
All Cuban airports served by Air Transat are open and operating, either with electrical power or through generators. Our flights continue to operate as scheduled, although some hotel services may be temporarily unavailable.
We offer travelers the following options:
Travel as Planned

You have the option to maintain your trip as originally scheduled, provided that our flights are operational. However, if you choose to travel, no refunds or compensation will be granted in the event of interruptions due to the current situation.
Change Your Departure Date or Destination

You may change your departure date or destination to another destination served by Transat and Air Transat, with no change fees. If the new flight or package selected is more expensive than the originally planned one, you will need to pay the difference.
Cancel for a Travel Credit Refund

If you decide not to travel, you can cancel your reservation and receive a full refund in the form of a non-transferable travel credit (excluding any paid travel insurance premiums and Option Flex Standard and Option Flex Extra fees), which will be valid for one year from the originally scheduled departure date and can be applied to any purchase of products offered by Transat and Air Transat.
