Welcome to Sandy Beach at Otter Lake! Our resort is a little piece of paradise situated on the southern shore of Otter Lake, located in Ontario.

Sandy Beach at Otter Lake has been in operation for over 100 years and offers an abundance of character, charm and history. Otter Lake is a deep, pristine, spring-fed lake that is second to none for all water activities. The lake is approximately 3 km by 5 km, which makes it large enough for water sports, but small enough to explore its many islands and shores. The Resort’s gently sloped sand beac

h is perfect for swimmers of all ages, especially for young children and grandchildren. We boast some of the best fishing around with a variety of species, including small and large mouth bass, northern pike, natural and stocked lake trout (splake) as well as an abundance of rock bass, sunfish and perch for young anglers. We have 23 cabins that range from three bedrooms to single room sleeping cabins. Each of our cabins offers our guests a charming, peaceful place for family fun or quiet relaxation. Most of the cabins have decks complete with patio furniture and their own private fire pit for quiet reflection and marshmallow roasts.

2016 saw only the second ownership change in 50 years. The new ownership group consists of three families that have been regular guests of the park since the 1970’s. We recently made changes to enhance the comfort of the park while maintaining the charm, quaintness and relaxed feel. It's a little piece of Canadian history at its finest. One visit here and you will see why our clients keep coming back year after year. Many families are second and third generation guests. We are proud of our park and we hope it shows! To all our guests,

In accordance with the restrictions put in place by the Ontario Government, we have shut down all of our business operations, and access to the park is off limits until further notice.

To our seasonal guests: an email has been sent out with details on seasonal fees, and our plan moving forward. Please be sure to check your junk mail if you have not received it. Please contact Paul Dimoff at [email protected] or 613-283-2080 if you have any concerns.

We will continue to update here on Facebook, as well as via email in the weeks to come.

We would like to thank ALL front line workers for their tireless efforts during this time.

We hope that everyone is continuing to stay safe and healthy. Our thoughts are with you and your families. Let's continue to all do our part so we can return to our normal lives, and return to Sandy Beach at Otter Lake!
