Happy Thanksgiving to all of our family and friends! For those who are here today and the next few days for a charter some places will be closed and some open. Fortune Bridge Diner is OPEN and is only a short drive away. North Lake Boathouse Eatery is open, Strait Goods( for Breakfast & Lunch Only) , Clamdiggers ( open Sunday —-closed on Monday) Have a great Thanksgiving!

This place www.eaglesperchbeachhouse.ca can accommodate many large groups with full kitchen, laundry, dining etc etc…the full deal. It is of no coincidence folks about the weather this weekend! Mark Davis & BigWater Adventures was scheduled to be here!! We can all blame hurricane Mark 🤪😂BigWater Adventures / Mark Davis Mark and us go way back in attracting bad weather lol. Usually when Mark is here there is some type of a weather system and more times than not we have missed many filming days due to weather. We’ll not tell you the days he has scheduled for next year!! We’ll wait and see what happens. Going to miss you Mark…all the best on your next adventure filming!!

Do you know where the tuna capital of the world is? It's North Lake, PEI! 🐟🌍

If you drive to this eastern PEI harbour when the season is on, you will see fishers with their catch! Bluefin tuna typically weigh between 600 to 1000 pounds.

The bluefin tuna fishery in PEI operates on a quota system, therefore, it does not have a fixed season. Fishers use a rod and reel method to catch bluefin tuna.

Sporty conditions to say the least but the guys enjoyed one last morning with a GBFT before we called it due to high winds today. It was their first trip to PEI but they enjoyed the Islands hospitality, it’s local seafood, the relaxed vibe:) and of course the bluefin tuna. One thing we always find once clients come here…it’s so much more than just the fishing. We are just a small part of what PEI has to offer!!! Love our Island
