I did it!!!! First swim of the year, and it’s technically still a June. Huron is about 15 degrees right now, the perfect cool down temp to usher in the evening.

Friends, sadly the fire ban is still in place so we won’t be doing our annual fireworks display on the beach this holiday weekend. Perhaps, in the future when it’s safe to do so.

Unfortunate news friends, fire ban in place until conditions improve.

** IMPORTANT NOTICE **
Saugeen Reserve Fire Department will be following suit with the Bruce County Fire Ban.

Do to the hot weather and to the amount of fuel this puts our Community at HIGH RISK. The Ban includes all Open Air Fires, with the exception of small campfires to cook and or for warmth.

All fires used for cooking/ warmth, must always be attended by a adult at all times. Must be extinguished immediately after use.

Chad sitting on his throne announcing the BIG NEWS…. we’re renovating again! This time we’re turning Cottage #6 into a 3 bedroom Villa for the 2023 season. Floor to ceiling and wall to the wall changes are underway. The best part of the Villa conversion on this unit is new windows and doors, and of course the addition of an air conditioner!!!
