Daphne Hart has 22 years of experience in the Travel Industry. She began her exciting career in Travel as a Travel Consultant, and then Groups and Tour Coordinator, Manager of two Travel offices and then Director of Sales and Marketing. Daphne has travelled extensively and has visited 13 Caribbean Islands, as well as Central and South America, Hawaii and spent a month in Egypt. She has also travel
led to England and 10 countries in Europe. She has cruised 15 times, Caribbean (Western Eastern Southern), the Egyptian Nile, the Islands of Hawaii, Mexico, Central and South America, The German Rhine and the European Mediterranean. Daphne has a real “wanderlust” and is proud to be the recipient of a National (Canada) Achievement Award for exceptional Customer Service. With 22+ years of experience in the Travel Industry and with a passion for travel and excellence Daphne is committed to providing exemplary personalized customer service to her members- with the goal to exceed their expectations. Her passion and dedication to You Go Girl Travel Club translates into ensuring that her members’ travel Dreams are fulfilled!!! Daphne has worked as a Career Services Employment Specialist and Instructor with Eastern Academy in St John’s where she taught students job search skills and helped prepare them for the workplace. As well she has worked hand in hand with Industry to facilitate suitable work terms for her students-a role she felt was very fulfilling. She has held roles as a Business facilitator with the Newfoundland and Labrador Organization of Women Entrepreneurs-NLOWE and as an Industry Liaison with Women In Resource Development Corporation-WRDC -an advocacy group ensuring that women were included in the employment plans for the major natural resources projects happening in the province. Daphne is passionate about assisting women reach their full potential and being successful in their careers and life. Daphne has just formed a new and exciting Travel Company “You Go Girl Travel Club” in St John’s where she will offer premier destinations to small groups of women travellers. You Go Girl Travel Club is an incorporated company whose focus is to offer an extraordinary
travelling experience to its membership and help create a “trip of a lifetime” experience on every journey. The goal is to provide a high level of personalized customer service to the membership to ensure that their travel dreams are fulfilled while traversing the exotic and adventurous planet! Daphne’s plans are to take the time to understand the travel styles and preferences of the members to ensure that You Go Girl Travel Club delivers what’s best for the group. You Go Girl Travel Club has selected 5-7 departures planned for 2018 .However it’s all about what the membership want!!! Our Literary adventures are created to offer unique opportunities to share ideas about great works of literature, art and music in the location in which they were created or where they take place.
