Job Title: Experienced Class 2 or 4 Driver for Shirrans Transportation

Location: St. John's, Newfoundland

Job Description:

Shirrans Transportation is currently seeking an experienced Class 2 or 4 driver to join our team in St. John's. The ideal candidate will have previous experience driving buses and will be responsible for transporting wedding guests during the summer months.

Most of the work will take place in the evenings and on weekends, making it an ideal position for someone who is looking for part-time or seasonal work. We offer competitive pay and a modern bus that is well-maintained and equipped with all the necessary amenities to ensure the comfort and safety of our passengers.

Responsibilities:

Transport wedding guests to and from the wedding venue in a safe and efficient manner

Ensure the bus is clean and presentable for each trip

Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the bus to ensure its safety and reliability

Maintain accurate records of each trip, including mileage and fuel consumption

Provide excellent customer service to all passengers

Qualifications:

Valid Class 2 or 4 driver's license

Clean driving record

Previous experience driving buses

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends

6 pm at Skippers/ Harbour Quarters Parking Lot
6:15 pm at Swyers parking lot

2nd run -
7:30 pm Skippers parking lot
7:45 pm Swyers parking lot

*no reservations - be at designated area for pick up time*

Melrose Catalina -

Effective as of 3pm today anyone coming in on out of province flights will have to self isolate for 5 days, therefore Shirrans Taxi will not be picking up at the airport until these restrictions are lifted.
