With tour choices to suit any preference, there are countless opportunities for all manner of wonderful sea-based adventure. A brief water safety session is included at the commencement of each tour, all fishing and safety equipment is provided, and each excursion features a fresh meal of the day’s catch. Our fleet, equipment, and personnel are all Transport Canada certified for safety and operation.

Our Story

With our experienced captains, Noel and Kevin, we offer you the best fishing charter in St. John's, Newfoundland and hands-on experience on one of our vessels - the Smuggler’s Run

or the Smuggler’s Two . You'll get an intimate boat tour and head along the craggy cliffs into the vast Atlantic Ocean where you can try to spot whales and icebergs. We'll pass by Signal Hill, Cabot Tower, St. John’s Harbour and the most easterly point in North America, Cape Spear.

You’ll hear lots of stories and legends about the fishers of Quidi Vidi . You'll even get to try your hand at fishing or jigging a cod – a tradition for over 500 years. Return to the wharf a few hours later and learn how to clean, gut, then eat your fish right on the spot. Delicious! experience starts with charming stories about the fishery of yesteryear and Quidi Vidi village. After a quick safety demonstration your adventure begins aboard one of our vessels as we head out through the sheltered gut to the wide open Atlantic Ocean.
