1946 Throwback Thursday Trivia 🧐🤓
Dr. Spock, Bing Crosby, and Song of the South were all the rage. Deviled ham, egg salad, and gold nugget cake were crowd-pleasers, and John and Mary were two of the most popular baby names. A Cadillac cost $1,935, a bottle of Coke was still a nickel, and three Hershey's bars were 13 cents.

Consequently, a "baby boomer" is defined as anyone who was born during the 18 years after World War II when there was a significant rise in the U.S. birth rate. Famous American boomers include Barack Obama, Bill Clinton, Bill Gates, Donald Trump, George W. Bush, Jeff Bezos, Michael Jackson, Michael Jordan, Oprah Winfrey, and Steve Jobs.
