What a light show we had from the Aura Borealis

Did you know that legend says that “When a husky dog passes away, it's said they earn a silver harness, which they put on and cross the rainbow bridge, and keep going north, until they find the tundra wherein they run through the sky at night and the moonlight glints off of their harnesses and it creates the northern lights (Aurora Borealis.”

Saturday, June 3rd! That's our tentative opening day for the season in Covehead. It's been a bit of work to bring us back from the hurricane last year, but we are now ready to go. Thank you so much to all those who helped, including the trades and Maritime Electric. We are looking forward to seeing you all again this year!

Thanks to so many reaching out to us after we are so grateful we had no damage to except for a few trees took down part of our side fence.
It’s been an emotional time seeing the damage to our community and beautiful island.

We have all seen kindness and strangers helping strangers in a time of need. We are truly blessed as maritimers ❤️

What did the ocean do when it met the shore? It waved. 🌊 In this satellite image of Prince Edward Island National Park, we can see pink swirls along the coastline, created by sediment from the iconic red sandstone cliffs, as well as emerald lagoons.
