Prices for the tour are (in Canadian dollars):
One week = $2,450 + airfare and insurances
Two weeks = $4,690 + airfare and insurances
Three weeks = $6,720 + airfare and insurances

The week on the sea starts with a flight into Guayaquil from where we go to Puerto Lopez, the heart of whale watching and "the poor person's Galapagos." We will visit Agua Blanca to learn about the indigenous history of the coastal people and enjoy (your choice of) mud or palo santo oil massages before bathing in a sulfur lagoon (it's way better than it sounds :) ). From there we go to Los Frailes, rated as one of the most beautiful beaches in Ecuador. A tour of a coffee and cocoa plantation, with a complete explanation of how seeds/beans are turned into confections is included. Then we are off to Salinas where seafood dominates the menus and beach fun in the sun go hand in hand.

The Sierras week begins in Alausi, where we descend 1000 meters on the Nose of the Devil train into a canyon to enjoy indigenous cultural celebrations and beautiful scenery. Next we will ascend to just over 4,000 meters to the reserve found on Mt. Chimborazo, the highest volcano/mountain in Ecuador. Then we head to Baños for three days to be filled with your options of waterfall tours, swings over precipices for out-of-this-world vistas, rafting, canyoning, bridge jumping, horse riding, canopy rides, geothermal spas, steam bathes, and so much more. Cuy, the traditional meal of guinea pig, is not the only food available, just in case you are hoping for more food fare options.

The sky takes us up to Quito, where we visit the historic center, ride the Teleferiqo (gondola) up to almost 13,000 meters, visit the Intiñam Museum on the equator, see the world's second biggest crater at Pululahua, climb up the interior el Panicillo, the protector of Quito, before going to Mindo to enjoy spectacular butterflies, birds, more canopy ride options, more rafting ... simply more... before we visit the Otavalo artisan market (the largest market of its kind in South America) and then one more day of exploring Quito before calling it a tour.

Summer tour of Ecuador. Choose one, two, or three weeks and visit the sea (whale watching in Puerto Lopez, beach fun in Salinas), the sierras (Baños, Alausi) or the sky (Quito, Mindo). The sights are stunning, the seafood, fruit, pastries ... ok, all the food is delicious, and you will have personal attention with English and Spanish speaking/translating guides.
