3 years ago we completed the renovation on our first cabin, , and became vacation rental hosts! Here are our favourite before & after photos of the space. Our hearts go out to the residents and business owners in Jasper who have lost their homes & livelihoods this week to the wildfires. Jasper, Alberta has a special place in our family's hearts - we visit often to camp, to celebrate anniversaries, and simply to escape to the most peaceful place we know. We've learned that fellow vacation rental hosts have lost their homes that they've shared with travelers around the world, and we grieve with you. One of our family's favourite, coziest Airbnbs was one of the structures that didn't survive. It was such a special place filled with handmade furniture, many memories, and so much love. Thank you to the hosts for sharing it with us and we are so sorry that you've lost this special place along with your own home. 🩷

Who's excited for Fall? We've JUST opened up our Fall and Holiday season 2024 bookings at both of our cabins: and . Fall is a beautiful time to unwind at either lake with the autumn foliage hitting its peak at the end of September & beginning of October. Pictured here are the trails around Spring Lake, and Seba Beach has some gorgeous walks too! The Holiday season is also a magical time at both cabins. I add subtle Christmas decor to both spaces, and the winter season is a quieter time at the lake. If you're looking for a peaceful escape with less people around, winter's your best bet at either cabin! You can book directly with us to save third-party platform fees, or find us on Airbnb and Vrbo. We can't wait to host you!

We got to sneak away to ourselves this last weekend and it sure was cozy and relaxing! Sean is finishing up building another fence on the East side of our lot, and our daughter had a booth at the farmers market on Saturday for her handmade bracelets. We made pancakes on this cutie stove, and enjoyed a walk down to the lake. Have you had a chance to visit Seba Beach yet? (We do have one summer spot left available at our Seba cabin: July 14-19. One year ago, we finished the renovations on . There was a lot of actual blood, sweat & tears involved, but I'm so proud of what we've done to this tiny cabin. It feels so good to give it a new life and share it with our guests! 💚 Have you been to our Tiny Cabin in Seba Beach yet? 🇨🇦
