A quick overnighter in the bush. Temp at 8 am this morning -25C.

Some fishing, but only one bite. Lots of water on the surface of the lake. 9 inches of ice.

Nice and cozy by the wood stove after a day on the lake

Headed to no man's land tomorrow with The Up North Fishing Guy a lovely collaboration where I outfit for an overnight camp and he finds that sweet spot on the ice.
