Get ready for a one-of-a-kind adventure aboard a historic steam locomotive, paired with the finest selections from Summerland’s renowned Bottleneck Drive wineries, cideries, craft breweries, and distilleries. This enchanting afternoon event features a two hour train journey through the picturesque countryside of Summerland, BC. complemented by exceptional drinks, gourmet bites and live music.

EVENT DETAILS
Extended Experience: This year, the event is 30 minutes longer, giving you plenty of time to unwind and enjoy every moment at a relaxed pace.

Assigned Seating: To make sure you can enjoy the ride with your friends, we’ve arranged for assigned seating on the train.

Reception Before Departure: Kick off the event with a welcome reception featuring delicious appetizers, Summerland wines, ciders, craft beers, premium spirits, and live music.

Onboard Tastings: Sommeliers will be on board to guide you through tastings of the region’s best beverages.

Sweet Endings: When we return to the station, indulge in a dessert reception to wrap up your experience.

Exclusive Shopping: Take home a taste of the day’s offerings at the Martin Street Liquor Merchants’ on-site store, where you can purchase your favorite wines, ciders, craft beers, and premium spirits.

Complimentary All-Access Pass: From June 19 to June 23, 2025, enjoy a Complimentary All-Access Pass, entitling you to drop in at participating Bottleneck Drive establishments for a quick tasting—on us! Just show your event ticket's e-receipt and enjoy a tasting at as many locations as you’d like.

Location: Historic Kettle Valley Railway Depot, Summerland
Ticket Details: Price is $169 per person, plus GST and fees. Includes a scenic return steam train ride with assigned seating, wine, cider, craft beers, premium spirits, appetizers, dessert reception, a scenic stop at a trestle bridge, live music, and your All-Access Pass as described.

🎭The Adams Family🎭

If you know, you know!!

The theatre department at Summerland Secondary School puts on some of the BEST productions in the south Okanagan! This year they are taking on (and will SLAY) a production of "The Adams Family!"

All of SSS's production sell-out quickly, so be sure to grab your tickets FAST and come out to support the students, in what is sure to be a smash hit!!

Rollin' Coal will delight you with songs that will bring back memories, and also treat you to novel versions of old favourites. They'll have you cheering for more along with the "Rollin' Coal Rowdies," a group of fans that follow them everywhere!

This well-loved trio has a long resume of places they’ve played, including numerous Legions, local wineries, eateries, and “Parks Alive!” events.

Tickets for this show are $20, or $15 for SCCA members, and are available NOW at Artisans of the Okanagan. You can also reserve tickets via e-transfer to [email protected].

Awesome Arts is a program dedicated to providing Fine Arts opportunities for adults with diverse abilities.

All workshops and courses are led by professional artists with expertise in painting, fibre arts, mixed media and more.

This event is FREE, however, donations to the Summerland Food Bank are encouraged and will be collected on location.

Skate rentals are available for $2.

🎶🎄FAMILY CHRISTMAS SINGALONG🎄🎶

How about a lovely alternative to going out caroling: a Christmas Carol singalong, indoors at the Summerland Community Centre! This is a participation event and not a concert, so bring your whole family down to enjoy and take part in holiday fun together!

The gracious and intrepid Monday Night Strummers will be hosting this event. Not only will they be playing their instruments, they will also have a projector showing all the words up on a screen so you can sing your heart out with confidence!

If you play an instrument, bring it along because the chords will also be right up there, too! There will be a selection of both sacred and secular tunes to enjoy.

A treat of spiced Christmas tea and hot chocolate with whipped cream or marshmallows will be on offer, plus cookies!

👻 WHAT A SP🎃🎃KTACULAR EVENT! 👻

Everyone had soooo much fun at yesterday's "Trick or Treat on Main Street!" The turnout was AMAZING and hearing the shrieks of joy from the kiddos was absolutely brilliant! So many mums & dads joined the littles with costumes on, themselves, it just warmed our hearts!!

BIG thank yous to Bella Vita Flowers for spearheading this event 3 years ago, which is now a tradition, and for keeping it going, to the District of Summerland for partnering with us and to Your Dollar Store With More Summerland for their time and generosity in helping us with all of those orange ball🧡🧡ns that showed trick or treaters where all of the Halloween loot was!!

BUT...the biggest thank yous have to go to our downtown core!! Summerland has the most amazing businesses and business owners that show so much community spirit, time and time again! We had 40 businesses participate and we cannot thank you enough!
