Better late than never, which was almost the case! After being closed for way too long, the Sun Peaks pool is set to open. Thanks so much to Sun Peaks Alpine Fitness for taking on the running of the pool, and to the municipality who listened to the pleas of all the guests and locals who wanted their community pool back!!

'Piece of mind' - skiKrumb trackers will be available to purchase and operate at Sun Peaks this year - even though Sun Peaks has a great layout with most trails leading back to the village, this will be a great way to keep track of the more adventurous skiers in your group.

Construction of the new Sun Peaks Ski and Snowboard Cross Course is underway. With this and the new West Bowl Express nearing completion, there will be plenty of new areas to check out this coming season.

Hot off the press! Sun Peaks Resort announces a permanent ski and snowboard cross course to be built this summer, in partnership with long-time local company Powder Ventures Excavating Ltd. Construction of the Powder Ventures Ski and Snowboard Cross Course started this week on Sundance Mountain with a team comprised of Sun Peaks Resort and Powder Ventures employees and contractors.

We’re so excited for what this type of permanent course means for athlete development, sport exposure, event hosting opportunities and destination exposure.

While it may be a little cool and wet now, the alpine meadows are lovin' the conditions and it's looking like it's going to be an amazing wildflower season this year. Mid-July to mid-August (weather dependent) is the best time to photograph the wildflowers and we look forward to helping you unwind from your daily grind!

Took some time during the shoulder season to escape the hill to chill in Cinque Terre & Tuscany, Italy and it was absolutely amazing. The best part was when ‘Nancy & Paul from BestSunPeaks’ finally got engaged under the Tuscan Sun. 💍🥂🍾. Can’t wait to get back up to Sun Peaks to celebrate with family & friends!

Besides Peter Wyse creating 'super-cool' art, this is a reminder that the bears and other wildlife are out and about in Sun Peaks and we remind everyone to be 'bear-aware' when it comes to food, garbage, barbeques, etc. Keep them as well as yourselves safe. Take only pictures, leave with wonderful memories and everything you packed in!
