Several weeks ago had the pleasure 🙏 of having brunch at the Clansman Motel. They are located at 9 Baird Street in North Sydney. I stopped in here after going to the Cape Breton Farmers' Market.
For my meal I had the Clansman Classic ( 2 eggs, home fries, and your choice of bacon 🥓, ham, bologna, or sausage, served with toast and preserves). This was delicious 😋! My sunny side up eggs were done to perfection!
The service was excellent! Love the atmosphere here! Met one of my patients from Down North. They told me they always come here to eat when they are in town. I can see why!
I wish the Clansman many more years of continued success 🙌! Have a great weekend my friends and remember, KEEP SMILING 😃!

Over the past several weeks, has had the pleasure 🙏 of having 2 dinners at Bistro Phare 756 in beautiful downtown with his wife Voula. This was a nice treat after going hiking on the newly refurbished . This fine establishment is a Cafe and restaurant with a full service dining room!
For my meals I had the Slow Braised Beef Brisket Sandwich and the Special of the day which was Lasagna and a Caesar Salad (with homemade dressing!). My wife Voula had the Crab and Scallop Linguine Pasta and the Soup of the Day. For one of our meals we each had the Chocolate Mousse. Everything was delicious 😋!
Love the atmosphere and all the windows! Very nice decor with beautiful artwork by local artist Gary LeDrew. The staff were very helpful and friendly 🙂!
Next time you're in Louisbourg, make sure you check out Bistro Phare 756 after your hike. You'll be glad you did! Have a great weekend my friends and remember, KEEP SMILING 😃!
