Today we remember the men and women that made the ultimate sacrifice for their country. Lest we forget.

Bush flying has a strong connection to many WW1 & WW2 veterans. Many of the pilots that returned from WW1 used their savings to purchase their own planes, using them to move people and supplies through Canada's north, survey the land, and watch for forest fires.

When war in Europe started again in 1939, many of these pilots returned to service to build the Royal Canadian Air force. Without these pilots, Canada's expansion would have been slowed and the north disconnected. We will remember them and their contributions here in Canada and around the world.

If you're coming up to Northwestern Ontario this autumn, be prepared for the weather 🍃🥶

While the days can still be warm, the nights start to get pretty cold. It's a good idea to pack a few sweaters, a jacket, and even gloves and a hat. In October, you can expect temperatures to hover around 10 C (50 F) during the day and drop down to below 0 C (32 F). And of course, the further north you go, the colder it gets.

Coming prepared is the best way to ensure you have the best adventure while your here!

Happy World Animal Day! Today we're highlighting all the creatures that add joy to our lives, from dogs in the boat to the fish in the lake 🐶🐟
Meet our four-legged co-pilot, Raffie! While you won't see him on any charter flights, he loves joining us on our personal trips. He curls up in the canoe and doesn't mind the plane! As a reminder, we are dog friendly! Just let us know if you want to bring your pup with you!

We know it's tempting to bring the entire tackle box on your fishing trip, but on fly-in fishing trips, space — and weight are limited.

Each aircraft has a maximum weight it can carry, so passengers are limited to how much they can bring. So sort through your lures before your trip and only bring your favourites! (We know you'll just use your "lucky" one 😉)
