🚨 Important Update for Sunday’s Halloween Movie Screenings! 🚨

Due to a planned Hydro One outage from 7 AM - 1 PM this Sunday, the 10 AM Halloween Movie Screening at Rotary Hall has been moved to 2 PM. The 6 PM screening will proceed as scheduled.

🎃 We hope you can still join us for a spooky afternoon and evening of fun! See you at Rotary Hall for some Halloween magic on the big screen! 👻🍿

Happy 50th Anniversary to the MS Chi-Cheemaun! ⚓

On this day in 1974, carrying 140 passengers and 60 vehicles, the Chi-Cheemaun had her maiden voyage between Tobermory and Manitoulin Island. To celebrate this special occasion, there will be a musical guest and guest speakers on board today – including historian and author Richard J. Thomas.

The Lion’s Head Community Centre is seeking a dedicated and proactive Arena and Facilities Attendant to join our Facilities, Parks and Recreation team. This unionized full-time, permanent position offers an exciting opportunity to play a crucial role in maintaining the high standards of our arenas, parks, and municipal facilities, ensuring they are safe, clean, and welcoming for all community members.

As an Arena and Facilities Attendant, you will be responsible for a diverse range of tasks, from operating and maintaining equipment, to performing repairs and facilitating events. Your ability to interact positively with the public while overseeing various services will make you a key representative of our commitment to community engagement.

This role includes physical work in various weather conditions, and candidates should be prepared for irregular shifts, including evenings and weekends. If you are someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and possesses the skills and passion for maintaining municipal facilities, we encourage you to apply and become an integral part of our team, helping us to deliver outstanding facilities to our community.
