West coast treasures. Last fall a container ship lost a bunch of its cargo. We’ve seen a lot of debris. But the Yeti coolers are a choice find. This is cooler #10 for our helicopters but my personal first. We are excited to put it to the test with some chilled beverages.

Atleo River Air Service launches first UAV seaplane flight. UAV (unmanned aerial vehicle) technology will allow us to remove the unnecessary pilot, now considered a weight burden, to allow extra payload and seating capacity on flights. April 1st ,2021 marks an important land mark for aviation in Tofino.

2 am snow check. Because of the large surface area of the wings and control surfaces, the weight of snow can overcome the floatation on a seaplane. Luckily this is a rare occurrence at sea level in Tofino.
